Students learn about Mesopotamia by using the textbook and doing a variety of short activities.
Students study Egypt, Greece, and Rome in small groups, rotating among six different stations, including the internet, videos, nonfiction books, the textbook, and a CD ROM. Students have an assignment for each station. The stations are followed up with class discussions and a final test.
A special emphasis is placed on the legacies we’ve received from these ancient civilizations.
